The follow-up cadence
When to call back a lead who doesn't answer, and when to stop.
Most leads don't answer the first attempt. What sets converting teams apart is a clear cadence they actually keep.
- Speed on first contact. The sooner you call, the fresher the interest.
- Space the retries. One attempt soon after, another the next day, then further apart.
- A defined end. Decide how many attempts you make before calling the lead lost.
First contact: 1 h after it comes in Second attempt: 24 h later The rest: every 72 h
Tune the timings to your pace and to when your leads usually arrive.
That's Closeford's default cadence, and every workspace can change it. See Follow-up.
